Our agriculture projects have provided support to food security for Syrian refugees to start small-scale agriculture productions. We have a Farmer Field school in Bar Elias, Beqaa Valley with greenhouses that are used for food security projects. The Farmer Field school helps teach farmer techniques, irrigation, and agro-ecology to Syrian refugees.
The results of our agriculture projects have been:
- Reduced vulnerability to food insecurity through the provision of food production inputs to Syrian refugee families and increase their access to healthy food production.
- Increased sustainable, safe and ecological productive agriculture capacity of Syrian refugees, improving agricultural productivity and ensuring food security.
- Increased and strengthened technical knowledge of Syrian Refugees in the correct water management of agriculture.
